Department of Tourism, Karnataka

The Department of Tourism is responsible for policy-making, promotion, and sustainable development of tourism in Karnataka. It works alongside key government undertakings like the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC), Jungle Lodges and Resorts (JLR), Karnataka Tourism Infrastructure Limited (KTIL), and the Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA). These bodies help implement tourism projects, manage accommodations, and promote eco-tourism. Karnataka Tourism actively participates in national and international campaigns, trade fairs, and roadshows to attract tourists and investors.
